Marty noticed this morning that Shinia has developed another hemotoma on one of her ears. She’s 13 years old, and she get’s them from shaking her head and itching her ears (she has allergies, which affect her ears).. Last time this happened, the hematoma was pretty bad, and it was ~$1500 all said and done, and it was a month of constant doctors visits.
This time, it doesn’t look like it was so bad, and it’s going to be half that. That cost includes some other tests, some general maintances (nails, etc) and a couple of days stay at the Sharp Animal Hospital Hotel and Resort.
But, since we are a bit short on cash due to savings for two seperate vacations in the next 5 weeks, we decided to roll up some coins and tap into a lil secret savings account I had, which pretty much covers the cost.
Boy, those quarters sure do add up quick!!
